Employees registered with the e-Shram portal will be provided with an accident insurance cover of Rs 2 lakh.  If a worker registered on the portal crashes, he or she will be paid Rs 3 lakh in case of death or complete disability.  In addition, if the worker is partially disabled, he or she will be entitled to Rs 1 lakh under the insurance scheme.

 In the event of the death of a registered employee, the person selected by the worker or family member must file a claim along with the documents related to the e-Shram Portal / CSC.  They can also go to their respective banks  Under the age of 60, workers will receive a government allowance of Rs 3,000 / - under the labor project.

Through the e-Shram portal, the government aims to benefit 38 crore employees in the unorganized sector.  These include construction workers, vehicle drivers, migrant workers, Asha Anganwadi, road vendors and domestic workers.


 The central government has launched an e-labor portal for workers in the unorganized sector.  It will benefit about 38 crore workers in the unorganized sector  Through this portal, the government will create a national database and provide an e-labor card to the registered workers on the portal.  With the help of this card, registered workers can avail various social security schemes at any time, anywhere in the country.
